The Platform
La Plataforma, founded in 2010, is an art gallery and creative production studio located in a former printing house in the industrial area of Poblenou. The gallery collaborates with both national and international artists, offering a space for the dissemination and promotion of contemporary art.
Since its beginnings, La Plataforma has focused on supporting and showcasing the work of emerging and mid-career artists. Beyond its exhibition program, the gallery has played a key role in the creation of Poblenou Urban District, a private non-profit association that has been promoting this area since 2012 as Barcelona’s Creative District.
