The exhibition presents a series of sculptures created by joining together two pieces of Hispano-Muslim ceramic vessels. These works allude to the historically conflictive relationship between Christians and Muslims throughout the history of the Iberian Peninsula, while also serving as a statement in favor of cultural exchange and the social integration of immigrants through art. For this reason, the project is complemented by a series of workshops aimed at young immigrants from the neighborhood, through which they will participate in the production of audiovisual materials exploring the notion of belonging to a new environment.
