“Convida’m a una història”: Juan Antonio Cerezuela's Exhibition

The travelling exhibition “Invite Me to a Story” takes food as a starting point to reflect on and articulate our historical memory. It brings together the outcome of a community-based process developed in the Eixample neighbourhood and led by artist Juan Antonio Cerezuela over the course of one year.

The exhibition presents a device in the form of a mobile, dismantlable artefact that contains the results of this process. This artefact will travel through the three emblematic spaces involved in the project: the Sofía Barat Library, the Mercat de la Concepció and La Casa Elizalde.

Organised by the Sofía Barat Library, the Mercat de la Concepció and La Casa Elizalde, within the framework of the Ex-Libris programme by Homesession and Barcelona Libraries. In collaboration with: ”la Caixa” Foundation, ICUB–Barcelona City Council and OSIC–Government of Catalonia.
