Call for Exchange between Lo Pati and Bòlit, Centre d'Art Contemporani of Girona
The selected project will participate in a residency in Girona’s Barri Vell from November 25 to December 23, 2024.
Contemporary artistic research and creation must be linked to the protected natural areas of Girona.
Lo Pati – Centre d’Art of Terres de l’Ebre in Amposta and Bòlit – Centre d’Art Contemporani of Girona have opened the call for the program *Intervention in relation to nature and the landscape*, to select a contemporary artistic research and creation project related to the protected natural areas of Girona. The awarded project will participate in a residency managed by Bòlit in Girona’s Barri Vell from November 25 to December 23, 2024. Additionally, the artist will receive a stipend of €999 + VAT for fees and production expenses, as part of the agreement. Both organizing centers will follow the project’s progress and advise the artist throughout the creative process.
Artists applying for the call must have a creative activity record of at least two years. Project proposals must be submitted through the Amposta City Council’s entry registry using the general application form available on the electronic portal. Once the application is submitted, applicants must send a single email to info@lopati.cat with the subject “Convocatòria Bòlit Girona” within a maximum of thirty calendar days from the call’s announcement. The jury will be made up of Lo Pati’s director and technician (Aida Boix Grau and Edgar de Ramon, respectively), along with a third member from the artistic field.
This is the fourth edition of the *Intervention in relation to nature and the landscape* program promoted by the two art centers. In the previous three editions, the selected artists were Paula Vicente Puiggròs with the project *Bauen*, Lluís Martínez with *Paisatges*, and Juliana Hoyos with *SoUNd*.
