Open call for artistic residencies between Catalonia and Quebec: CONFLUENCE 2026 CAT

CONFLUENCE is the international artist residency programme between Catalonia and Quebec, led by EufònicAvatar and the Mois Multi festival, in collaboration with L’Estruch, the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, and the Institut Ramon Llull. Designed to connect digital, visual and sound-based artistic practices, the programme fosters research, creation and dialogue between contexts.

The CONFLUENCE CAT 2026 call is open to individual artists (no collectives) born, registered, or residing in Catalonia who work in the fields of digital, visual, or sound arts, with a clear focus on research, contemporary creation, and audiovisual experimentation.

The selected artist will undertake an eight-week residency at Avatar, an artist-run center dedicated to sound and electronic art based in Quebec City, with access to creative spaces and specialized technical support. The residency will culminate in a public presentation at the Mois Multi festival (February 2026), one of the leading international events for electronic and multidisciplinary arts.

The deadline to apply and complete the registration form is June 23, 2025 at 11:59 PM. Read all the details and conditions (fees for project development, financial support for travel and living expenses, etc.) in the call guidelines.
