CORDOVA GALA 2025

It’s that time of year again….. we are very excited to present the second edition of the Cordova Gala! Our charity event to raise funds that will help us finance the 2026 program, a very important year for us because we will be celebrating 10 years :))))

A lot has happened since the Gala’s first edition, and we want this annual event to become a tradition: a space to celebrate and share everything we have achieved throughout the year, and at the same time an opportunity to raise funds crucial in order to continue the work we do with Cordova possible. 

Since the 2024 Gala, we have collaborated with more than 15 artists and collectives, including:

Catàrsia, Hécate Criado, Maximiliana Zaitseva, Arca, Jiajia Zhang, Jumana Manna, Gerard Ortín, Luna Mahoux, Fer Boyd, Madeleine Stack, Ailo Ribas, Alberto Berdugo, Eloïse Bonneviot & Anne de Boer, Marcelline Mandeng Nken, Emily Jones

We believe it is important to remember that Cordova is a multidisciplinary, self-managed, non-profit art space. We focus primarily on solo presentations and new commissions by local, national, and international artists. Our curatorial methodology is based on a profound trust in the artist’s ideas and we encourage them to experiment and advance their practices in an environment free from commercial or institutional pressures.

To date, we have held more than 50 exhibitions, events, and performances, and both in Vienna and Barcelona we have maintained an international profile, recognizing the need to build bridges and connections between different artistic scenes, contexts, and communities.

Our motivation is to bring new perspectives and cultural narratives to the city of Barcelona and to offer the local public a diverse space and program where artists from our context and from around the world can meet, dialogue, and share. 

It is for all these reasons and many more that we have worked on La GALA, an event created in collaboration with artists, friends, neighbors, and colleagues to present an uninterrupted program of live performances, DJ sets, and various surprises, with bar and food service, which will be presented through two acts and an interlude:
