“Dialogues with Nature” by Regina Saura and Rita Roqueta | International Landscape Biennial
The intervention in the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion by Regina Saura and Rita Roqueta is an artistic and architectural reflection that explores the relationship between art, nature and technology. This proposal invites visitors to immerse themselves in an immersive dialogue that unites the delicacy of painting, digital innovation and the evocative force of the natural landscape.
Through elements such as the floating of leaves on the water, deformed shadows, ephemeral clouds and transparencies in the glass, the space is transformed into a stage where nature and architecture dialogue in a harmonious way. The intervention includes participatory actions where the public becomes the protagonist, interacting with the installations and experiencing visual, tactile and emotional sensations.
This project not only celebrates the uniqueness of the Pavilion, but also seeks to raise awareness about the preservation of nature and the need to reconnect with it in an increasingly digitalized and accelerated world.
