Tuesday of video / Total Refusal: revealing the politics of mainstream video games

With the participation of the collective Total Refusal

Total Refusal is a research collective dedicated to artistic intervention and the appropriation of the most popular video games, revealing the political apparatus beyond the shiny, hyper-realistic textures of these media. This session will screen the short film How to disappear (2020), a piece that reflects on the meaning of war and the possibility of deserting, both in video games and in real life.

This will be followed by a live gaming session by the Total Refusal collective, who will also discuss the game with the audience.
