Vermouth Saturday at Piramidón

This Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., we celebrate our first vermouth of the year with the double opening of Revisions #4: Patricio Reig and 2026_N1, the exhibition bringing together works by resident artists.

Revisions is a series that revisits Piramidón’s collection through artists who have been residents for a significant period, putting works from different stages in dialogue to show the evolution of their languages, techniques, and conceptual interests.

On this occasion, Revisions #4 focuses on Patricio Reig —resident at Piramidón from 1993 to 2016— whose work addresses time, memory, and the fleeting nature of existence. These are the central axes of a practice that works with photography as both archive and object. His search for the representation of anonymity goes beyond the unknown people he finds in archive photos and antique markets; it also appears in objects, symbols of presence and absence, and even in contemporary portraits that highlight certain personal features but are unified under the same anonymous criterion.

The selection includes two recent works by the artist, relating his current production to Piramidón’s collection.

At 1 p.m., guided tour with Ricard Casals.

We look forward to seeing you at Piramidón!
