Glass is a mineral that, when subjected to extreme heat, transforms into a molten liquid before solidifying into a transparent mass. A material that darkens when metallic oxides are applied in the fusion process. When tempered, its hardness increases, thus obtaining a safer and, consequently, more commercial product. This form of production limits the manipulation of the pieces, whose cutting and transformation are no longer possible. It is, in a way, a system with which some things are gained and others lost. In my practice, I consider these limitations, challenging the apparent rigidity or immobility of the works.
