Drawing Dialogues with Mies | Barcelona dibuixa 2025
The architect and artist Sergei Tchoban will create a large evolutionary drawing (1.60×5.00m) at the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion, tracing the evolution of Mies’ work from the first unbuilt projects to the most well-known buildings. The process will be open and improvised, adapting to the ideas that arise.
Visitors will be able to observe how he progresses, talk to him and ask questions.
Guided by Irma Arribas, Sunday 19 from 10:00 to 14:00, Barcelona Dibuixa participants will be able to create their own drawings exploring the same method of starting from an initial idea and making it evolve through drawing.
Sergei Tchoban’s drawing can be seen complete on Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 at the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion in Barcelona.
