What can art do in the face of a world in flames? What can be done in the face of ongoing genocide, the imminence of another world war, climate catastrophe? Is art still an effective tool or weapon, as Walter Benjamin argued, with which to fight for a dignified life? Could it derail the neo-fascist project that is advancing at full speed, colonising the entire planet?

Künstainer and CaldodeCultivo propose an urgent meeting of aesthetic resistance with the aim of exploring the potential of art to stimulate radical political imagination, an imagination that illuminates escape routes from the abyss into which ultra-liberal capitalism is leading us.
