Vermouth Saturday at Piramidón!

This Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., we invite you to join us for our vermouth celebration and the opening of Falk Töpfer’s new solo exhibition, “Liminal Spaces”, as part of the latest edition of AR-DE, the circuit of galleries, design spaces, museums, and showrooms of Poblenou Urban District.

In Liminal Spaces, the concept of liminal space is explored—an aesthetic emerging from digital culture that refers to places (or non-places) that feel familiar yet undefined, suspended in an indeterminate time. Time seems to dissolve within the closed, transitional nature of these spaces: corridors that lead nowhere we can quite grasp, or houses set within almost unreal landscapes.

Things that do not quite fit can be unsettling, but that does not make them negative. On the contrary, it is precisely in this disruption that a certain kind of magic can emerge. Mark Fisher suggested that the sense that something is out of place—that it should not be there—is often a sign that we are encountering something new. And in that strangeness, we find a distinct fascination and beauty.

At 1 p.m., there will be a guided tour of the exhibition with the artist Falk Töpfer.
