Inauguration of “Espai contaminat”, the new exhibition by Italian artist Iacopo Pinelli.

Join us this Saturday, May 30, from 11 am to 2 pm for vermouth and the opening of Italian artist Iacopo Pinelli’s new exhibition: Espai Contaminat.

The works on view emerge from Pinelli’s residency at Piramidón, Centre d’Art Contemporani, awarded through the Acquisition and Residency Prize at By Invitation Barcelona 2025. This collection is deeply rooted in the local territory while speaking to universal themes, and it debuts as part of Art Nou 2026.

In Espai Contaminat, Pinelli transforms small traces of his surroundings—seeds, insect remains, dust, architectural fragments—into sculptures and installations that explore the relationship between nature, memory, and space. His pieces reveal how natural processes quietly seep into architecture and everyday life, making visible the elements we often overlook.
