La Mercè: Open doors at Mies van der Rohe Pavilion
On Wednesday, September 24, the Mies van Der Rohe Pavilion will open its doors to celebrate the city’s festivities with you, from 10 am to 8 pm. It is a great opportunity to discover this symbol of architecture and everything it has to offer for free.
The Pavilion has became a jewel of the modern architecture, designed by Ludwig Mies van Der Rohe and Lilly Reich for the Barcelona International Exposition in 1929.
It’s become a reference for architects, designers, photographers and everyone who opens their mind to be set in the atmosphere.
Come and walk around the Pavilion within marble, glass and steel and surrender in a space that changed the architecture history with its minimalist elegance and an innovative space concept. Let the surroundings captivate you with the garden and the large trees that blend into the interior through the glass walls.
Discover the details and experience what it’s like to be there.
No need to book in advance. Come, enjoy, and share also on maps, instagram, facebook and twitter.
