Poètica de confrontació. Arale Reartes

In this first solo exhibition, Reartes brings together three photographic series: “Mechanics of a Female Body”, “Object Subject”, and “Armour: Mise en Abyme”. Through self portraiture and carefully staged environments, the works reflect on the ways in which women are compelled to develop a constant awareness of their bodies and their presence within social contexts.

The female body appears as both subject and site of negotiation, shaped by how it is seen, interpreted, and understood. Reartes approaches this condition with a precise gaze, questioning how this awareness becomes a mechanism of survival.
