Exclusive preview of ‘ERIL, ERIL, ERIL’.

In September 2022, after six years of healthy hyperactivity, El Petit de Cal Eril said goodbye with a sign that read: ‘We are closing to go fishing’. Then came the silence. No one knows how he has spent his time, in which unknown cove he has been casting his rod. But despite the mystery, we are now in a position to confirm that the years of fallow land have borne fruit. El Petit de Cal Eril is back. Without making a fuss, he has a new album ready to be released on 9 May, which, if we were to listen to the title, would have to be his trademark, pure DNA: ERIL ERIL ERIL ERIL, it’s called ERIL ERIL ERIL. But since the first song already warns us that ‘I am no longer who I was’, let’s see. Because you already know that he doesn’t usually follow the simple path, that he needs to open up new avenues and move around the margins. So this is an album with millions of questions and very few answers, or perhaps with all the possible answers, which are infinite. There are mysteries, promises, secrets, thoughts, a sea of doubts and knots to undo. Independence, radicalism, art. Human beings, people, friends. The blurred border between darkness and tenderness.

At this event at Mèdol, we will be able to discover and listen to the entire album accompanied by a video signed by the filmmaker Marc Cuscó. The composer and singer Joan Pons will be present. And you will be able to get the vinyl exclusively before it is released.
