There are substances that operate beyond the stable realm of objects, exceeding their limits and persisting in other forms. Cigarette smoke, for example, emerges after consumption as a suspended matter that prolongs the gesture of the body. The lips close into a circle that continues the shape of the mouthpiece, preserving for a moment the void of that opening.

The exhibition moves through a phase of dispersion and coating in which matter, rather than being exhausted through discard or consumption, shifts, adheres, and continues circulating throughout the environment. Permeating the space and the works, what was once experienced individually through drawing becomes configured as a new shared experience, relocating into a common space of superimposition and sedimentation.

Maintenance appears here as a form of coexistence with that which transforms and remains.
