T10 project: Diamante en mi montaña. Alba Suau

From a single point of departure, the poem Isla ignorada by Gloria Fuertes and, in particular, the verse “diamante en mi montaña,” Alba Suau develops a project that will be presented at Palau de Casavells from October 27 to November 28. During the same dates, a selection of ten works can also be seen at Alzueta Gallery Barcelona in Sèneca, as part of the T-10 Project, the gallery’s recurring format dedicated to presenting ten small-format works by a single artist.

At the origin of the project is the image of a mountain that Alba Suau begins to imagine as a person, as an other. A figure that seems to draw near and move away at the same time, and which the artist attempts to approach through painting. As Suau reveals, “¿Qué guardaba? ¿Quién era? Solo me llegan sus destellos y decido pintar ese misterio.”
