incarnated visions by Carme Torrent
How do the images we create emerge? How do we incarnate the inspiration for artistic practice? How do we generate a welcoming place where we can glimpse, move, touch ways of making images?
We propose a morning between-place where we can meet with the intensities that cross us, that shape us, and trans-form us that can become -or not- in images, sounds, artistic forms, re-enchanting the places of transit, attending to intracorporeality, and at the same time, cultivating experiences of otherness, generating places of listening and attention, relationships, relationships of relationships, diverse, porous, paradoxical, loving, vibratile fabrics.
To embody visions, to give us a moment-place to explore an entrance to the workshop that inspires us from the body.
Public and free activity without previous registration.

Carme Torrent, immersed in the field of art, her work unfolds in the limits or crossings between dance, architecture, and the sensibility-thought that emerge from them. Interested in the dance work called body weather (body weather laboratory), developed by Min Tanaka and Hisako Horikawa, she travels to Japan and collaborates regularly for a decade with the company Tokason, directed by Min Tanaka. She also collaborates assiduously with the choreographer Xavier Le Roy, in proposals for exhibition spaces. She explores and listens to bodily tactility through various practices with which she understands the political inseparable from the question of the knowledge that inhabits the sensitive in its very unfolding. Graduated in philosophy at the UB, University of Barcelona. She has taught workshops at MACAP Master of Performing Arts, Gerona-Ljubljana-Dartington, and within the Master program E.X.E.R.C.E, Montpellier.
