Redescobrint Yago Robert

In the 1970s, Yago developed a brief but intense body of work centered on abstraction and the search for a pictorial language of his own. Through lines, circles, colors, and monochrome backgrounds, he transformed his observation of his surroundings into an essential, calligraphic painting. He died on March 14, 1977, at the age of twenty-two. His work reflects the desire to reduce the complexity of the world to its simplest expression.
