Barcelona Gallery Weekend is an annual event promoted by the ArtBarcelona association that opens the art season in a selection of galleries in the city and its metropolitan area. It brings together a programme of exhibitions in art galleries complemented by guided tours, meetings, presentations, performances and other free activities related to contemporary and modern art in Barcelona.

Barcelona Gallery Weekend seeks to reinforce and make visible the rich and varied artistic fabric of Barcelona, to promote art collecting and to highlight the work of galleries as spaces that generate culture open to the public.
