⚡︎ Estats d'indeterminació. A cura de Blanca Pujals
The death of Yago Conde at the age of 37, just after completing his doctoral thesis, interrupted and erased his presence from architectural thought. This disappearance—a particular form of loss of density—was also a loss marked by the silence that followed.
In his thesis, entitled Arquitectura de la indeterminación (Architecture of Indeterminacy), Yago Conde proposed an understanding of architecture not as a practice oriented toward defined forms and static boundaries, but as a field of states of suspension and indeterminacy. From this position, he challenged the fixed limits of architecture and opened the project to multiple, non-predetermined relationships, conceiving it as a form of writing upon a surface rather than as a closed solution, in dialogue with practices in which the work depends on context and interpretation. In a similar vein, the ontological indeterminacy of quantum physics describes a reality in which matter emerges in relation to its context.
Co-curated by Blanca Pujals, this proposal presents a series of editions that depart from these ideas, activating them as tools for rethinking architecture, publishing, and the artistic and knowledge-producing practices through the lenses of indeterminacy and relation.
