Això al poble no li agradarà

“Això al poble no li agradarà” is a meeting point between audiences and contemporary creation. A space that generates new forms of relationships between spectators and contemporary artistic practices that engage in dialogue with their context. The festival proposes a shift in the cultural center, an exercise in reterritorialization that highlights hybrid creation by connecting artists, spaces, and audiences.

The festival will take place on May 21, 22, and 23 across six municipalities in the Girona region, with most activities held outdoors and free of charge. This year’s program —built on a shared governance structure involving sixteen artistic agents from the Girona area— combines indoor and street performances framed within contemporary performing arts practice.
