A simple cup of tea reveals a complex past of appropriation and resistance that still resonates in the present. Through a tea ceremony designed by Jenny Chih-Chieh Teng, accompanied by Chinese calligraphy and narrated by Nadia Nadesan, the history of Formosa Oolong tea and its connection to colonialism, migration and cultural identity is explored.
