aperitif, a bite that tends to open

encounters with Yazel Parra Nahmens

Three experiential encounters that combine gastronomy, oral tradition, and music, as spaces for sharing and being present outside the productive logic of time: Through ingredients and gestures, we will explore the act of welcoming by bringing to life stories, songs, and memories linked to hospitality. The tablecloth, a domestic tool, transforms into a space for connection and sedimentation: it gathers flavors, memories, and gestures, creating a living archive that we share.

Come join us for vermouth!

Yazel Parra Nahmens combines performative exploration with gastronomic and multisensory practices, positioning cooking, voice, and gesture as vectors connecting personal narratives and collective imaginaries. Through hybrid formats such as poetry, singing, and table laboratories, she investigates how food, domestic rituals, and orality are powerful tools of mediation, capable of opening spaces for critical dialogue across disciplines, materials, imaginaries, and bodily experiences.

An event in collaboration with the Centre Cívic Sarrià.
