AnarCarCasa reflects on the divide between private and public space, traversing it through everyday actions and expressions associated with the idea of home. This performative exploration asks how nomadic shelters might be imagined when the home—or the very idea of home—becomes unsettled. How can we find a horizon to live towards, feel at ease in our own skin, survive the city, build a network out of dreams, or imagine the best place after hell? The work explores the relationship between everyday actions in private space and their transformations into spatial prostheses. The body becomes both the support and the seed of action, opening up ways to examine the boundaries between private and public space through an animalisation of how we cross them. The key is to “function in the opposite direction to reality.” After all, architects do not live in houses with wide horizons, but cows do. And tomorrow, where are we going?
Pablo Apolo is an architect, anti-disciplinary artist and design lecturer at EINA. His work explores the relationships between spatiality, the design of artefacts and plastic expression through a range of tools, with cooperation as a common thread. He has collaborated with projects including Pluto (Pabellón Mariposa Calabaza, 2026), Casa Espacio (La Oca, 2025) and La Bobería (Tengo Miedo, 2024, and INOPIA, 2025).
The performance is developed in collaboration with Casa Espacio, Alfonsina Fantín, Levita, Alejo, Gordo Wasabi and Cayetano Truyols.
