BARCELONA CREA 2025 GRANTS
Inscripcions Obertes!E:\\ART, Barcelona’s centre for mediation, education and contemporary art, is launching the latest edition of the Barcelona Crea Grants, aimed at creators, researchers and cultural agents residing in Catalonia, with two grants available. This initiative invites professionals from any discipline to develop a research process focused on mediation as an artistic practice with the potential to generate critical contexts, as well as collective and emancipatory practices.
With this call, E:\\ART seeks to support artistic practice understood as a research process based on mediation, conceived as a tool for exploring and rethinking the relationships between contemporary art, mediation and education.
The ‘Barcelona Crea – Fàbriques de Creació’ grants are an initiative of the Xarxa de Fàbriques de Creació, with the support of the Institut de Cultura de Barcelona (ICUB), to support the pre-production processes that accompany the creation of artistic proposals: conceptualisation, gestation, research, experimentation, documentation and rehearsal. These grants aim to contribute to maintaining the city’s cultural and scientific momentum by offering resources to develop artistic research and innovation processes.

_Application deadline: From 16 October to 21 November at 11:59 p.m.
_Aimed at: Artists, researchers and/or cultural agents working in the field of mediation, education and/or contemporary art.
_Residency period: The residency will take place between January and November 2026.
_Facilities and resources:
>Financial grant of €6,000 (including taxes) grant.
>Workspace in the E:\\ART Library-Archive (except July).
>Access to E:\\ART resources: workspaces and meeting rooms, tools and technical equipment.
>Curatorial support and mentoring. E:\\ART offers ongoing support, facilitating and expanding the creative processes proposed by the practitioner.
>Dissemination and communication of the project through the usual E:\\ART channels.
