biki bi. Nora Aurrekoetxea

The exhibition by Nora Aurrekoetxea brings together new productions and other previous works modified by the artist. These pieces respond to a series of questions, intuitions and exercises on the sculptural practice that Aurrekoetxea has developed in recent years.

The alteration of the use and shape of everyday objects and structures, the intensification of the scale and the study of the response of certain materials to very specific actions and gestures are some of the procedures present in the sculptures and interventions on display in the exhibition room.

Her artistic practice includes sculpture, installations, texts and performance, developing a language in which everyday objects, bodies and architecture exist together in open relational systems.
