“Casa” is an immersive theatrical exhibition / performance. When visitors come to the DOM Art Residence’s space, they will not find themselves in a typical gallery space, but in an “apartment” where they will become “accidental” witnesses to a host’s private life and his preparations for a dinner party. During the evening they will observe four guests in a deeply emotional talk on themes important to them… each one talking in his own native language. Do they understand one another? Maybe not, but nevertheless each one is heard and witnessed. This performance, a symbol of our similarity and reflection of our collective human experience, highlights the importance of a dialogue between the nations, cultures, languages. A dialogue that art not only makes possible but deepens and intensifies.
