Crossing Lines: Five Visions of Contemporary Painting

BETA presents Crossing Lines, an ode to painting as a living, expanding, and continuously redefining language. In a landscape dominated by digital, installation, and performative practices, this project reaffirms painting’s role as an active and growing medium.

Founded in exile, the gallery is defined by the intersection of territories, generations, and languages. In line with this, we bring together five artists with radically distinct approaches: abstract, narrative, symbolic, gestural, or spiritual. Tyrell, Batista, García, Vallverdú, and Loyola embody that diversity. A deliberate friction that, for us, forms an honest reflection of what contemporary painting is; and what it continues to become.
