Destellos. Aguamarga Studio & Vivian Alarcón

This exhibition brings together the works of two emerging creators from Barcelona in the field of jewellery: Anna Ruiz and Vivian Alarcón, who propose an encounter between contrasting materialities: metal and glass. The two disciplines dialogue on the basis of their intrinsic natures: the solidity and malleability of metal versus the lightness and transparency of glass. Through traditional techniques, the artists elaborate their own visual language, deeply connected with the body and space. Through their pieces, they invite us to discover how materials are transformed to tell emotional and intimate narratives. Galería H2O thus becomes a stage where craft and experimentation converge. The textures, shapes and play of light that emerge from this material dialogue are a tribute to the expressive potential of jewellery.
