Wednesday of sound and body / JOMA. sound moon

Wednesdays of sound and body is nourished by the proposals of: BCN ImproFest, Festival Sâlmon, L’Afluent, La Bastida, Mixtur and Taller de Músics.

Sound moon is a plastic-sound project, a continuation of previous experiences of musical improvisation with live drawing.

The artist Joma paints, percussing with his hands, on a drum kit with water and pigment, totally integrated into the musical group. The result is captured by a camera inside the drum kit and projected as a large sphere on one of the walls of the room.

An imposing hypnotic disc, like a great planet, presides over the performance as another voice.
