SELTZ by Ritter Ferrer invites you to an exceptional conversation with Francesc Torres, one of the leading figures in international contemporary art, joined by José Luis Pérez Pont, curator of his current exhibition, El futur ja no és el que era, and Antonio Monegal, curator of the artist’s forthcoming retrospective at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, scheduled for May 2028.

Drawing on a career spanning more than five decades, the conversation will revisit the questions that run throughout Torres’s work and feel more urgent today than ever. Memory as a territory of conflict, history’s persistent return, the crisis of our idea of the future, and the responsibility of art in a present saturated with images.

Far from being a retrospective assessment, this will be an open conversation about what art can still do: unsettle us, reveal unexpected connections, and restore our ability to think critically about the world we inhabit.
