Charms, Disenchantments and Other Songs

This first instalment of the series We Live in a Devoured World coincides with the Fira de l’Intercanvi de Mieres (Mieres Exchange Fair). A very special occasion to present the first issue of ATIAR, a collection of situated literature, freely distributed locally and published and printed at LIO (La Impremta Oberta), based at Espai nyamnyam in Mieres.

In 2022, Jordi Mitjà brought 21 objects of varying value and provenance to the Fira de l’Intercanvi de Mieres. Many of them had been accumulated over time at flea markets, antique shops and car boot sales in different countries; others were found objects or even gifts. He documented the experience of this action in the text Charms, Disenchantments and Other Songs, which he wrote at his stall and which we are now publishing as the first issue of this new collection.
