Making before making known

Making before making known starts from the idea that making can speak for itself. Before a clear meaning is fixed through language, the works are gradually constructed as fragments of a process of learning and attention to the surrounding environment.

The exhibition presents works from the most recent cohort of the Master’s Degree in Artistic Production and Research, in the Art and Intermedia Contexts (ACI) track. In this edition it takes place in Aula Miró, the exhibition space located on the first floor of the Parxís building at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Universitat de Barcelona.

Opening this space to the public highlights the faculty’s workshops as centers of artistic production, where the exhibited works are the result of research processes.
