On the occasion of the closing of the inaugural exhibition of our new space: “That’s where I’m going». Echoes of what was and never came back”, we invite you to a closing event where we will enjoy two performance pieces.

Chadine Amghar
Performance

Artist Chadine Amghar presents a performance that stems from her work on how cultural identities and globalization weave a particular field of tensions.
Starting from situations in everyday life, Chadine reflects on the insertion of bodies and objects within the same system of commodification. The artist plays with the semiotic space that surrounds us, composing visual propositions that become metaphors for our condition as a piece within a system.

Chadine Amghar (Paris, 1997) builds her artistic practice through the observation of her surroundings and everyday experiences. She is interested in what surrounds her: banal objects, street scenes, everyday gestures. She likes to think of herself as a street spectator, walking around and paying attention to forgotten details, familiar forms, and the diverted uses of objects.

This performance is part of a research project that the artist is developing during her residency at Homesession in October and November 2026, within the framework of the collaboration with Artistes en Résidence – Clermont-Ferrand.

Anthem in F minor
Jules Carlito Beurrier-Loncan
Performance: 20’

Anthem in F minor is a sound and audiovisual piece that takes the form of a theme and variations around the F minor scale.
Through various instruments, the artist establishes a dialogue between different musical temporalities, citing works ranging from minimalism to the Baroque. These references intertwine and transform through a process of improvisation, giving rise to new compositions and sounds.

Jules Carlito Beurrier-Loncan (b. 2003) is an author, musician, and artist from Guadeloupe. After studying piano at the Conservatoire de Lyon and the Schola Cantorum, he is currently studying at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris (ENSAD), Sorbonne Nouvelle, and Université Paris 8, where he is training in literary creation. His texts have been published in L’écharde, Zone Critique, 2k2, Éditions Kilogramme, Columbia University Press, Miroir magazine, Opium, among others. He has presented performances at Gaîté Lyrique, Maison de la Poésie, and SGDL, and composes music under the artistic name LONCAN.

The artist is in residence at Homesession in November 2026, thanks to the support of Euroregion Pyrenees Mediterranean, Art Palma Contemporani, and Kazaaa.
