The duo of the dancers Cecilia Franceschelli and Nastia Dontsova reveals to the public a plastic, alive and changing relationship, which reflects the complexity and beauty of human ties. The Gravedness of an Abrazo explores the boundaries between love and pain, elasticity and rupture.
On stage, the hug builds images that invite the viewer to a journey of fragility and intimacy.
It is a piece of dance and partnering that highlights the need for sustainment and emotional dependence in human relationships, turning a daily gesture into an invisible bond, which crosses space and time.

A table, a few sacks, a boiling pot. Little more. An individual stuffed into a frog and a pair of boots smokes and shuts down before continuing with the work. The ritual is imminent. A process of purification that will take him on an internal journey of dehumanization. Conflict with himself. Loss of identity. To fight against fate. The body becomes a vibrant matter that returns to its most atavistic state.
