On Thursday, July 9, as part of the Art Nou Primera Visió 2026 festival, Piramidón will host a two-part event.

First, at 7 p.m., there will be a guided tour of Espai Contaminat by Iacopo Pinelli, an exhibition featured in the festival programme. This will be followed by a participatory installation by guest artist Alexander Johnston in one of the studios of Piramidón.

During the activity, visitors will be invited to actively engage with an installation made up of small-format paintings, handling them and reshaping their arrangement within the space. The project is built around a group of works conceived as modules within an open system: while each piece stands on its own, it is the relationship between them that gives the work its form. By moving, grouping, and reorganising the paintings, participants create new configurations that continually shift the way the whole is perceived.

The installation challenges the idea of fixed composition and transforms painting into a living, evolving, and shared structure, where process and participation become essential parts of the work.
