Agricultural Futures in La Garrotxa: A Conversation
In the second opening event of the cycle ‘We Live in a Devoured World’, we invite you to reflect on the agricultural system of the Ser Valley. We propose an open conversation facilitated by Lucía Argüelles, bringing together local producers and other stakeholders from the sector to collectively map out the present and future of the territory’s agri-food systems.
What does the survival and continuity of small- and medium-scale farming and livestock production depend on today? What futures lie ahead for them in La Garrotxa? What factors shape or constrain them? These are some of the questions that Lucía Argüelles, researcher and PhD in Environmental Science and Technology, invites us to explore in this open conversation.
Our aim is to think collectively about agricultural models, political ecology and generational renewal. An opportunity to share experiences, bring different perspectives together and imagine possible futures for the territory.
