Guillem Coma (Barcelona, 1990) exhibits his drawings for the first time. In his project at the RocioSantaCruz gallery, using the pen as his main tool, he creates a wide range of gestures, styles and volumes, and builds an enveloping atmosphere that invites to the contemplation and reflection. The reiterated presence of the human figure in a register of abstraction, blurred, barely insinuated, is the common thread that connects all the works exhibited. The act of “scratching” becomes the creative expression with which he dimensions his plastic representation. His cohesive visual narrative captures, from the first glance, the viewer’s attention.
