The exhibition, curated by Margot E. Cuevas, is the result of research into scenography as a curatorial methodology for its capacity to incorporate the process and time into the construction of an exhibition space. The project explores how works enter the scene and how the material arrangement of the space determine their perception over time through the practices of Alejandro Andújar, Estanis Comella, Noela Covelo Velasco and Quim Pujol. The proposal brings together music production, voice, imagery, language, costume and scenographic structures within the same workspace, in which these different practices share and transform the scene. The exhibition occurs in three acts, each of which is defined by a distinct transformation of the spatial configuration. These changes alter the relationships between the pieces, visitors and architecture, with each act rehearsing the various conditions of these encounters. The setting up therefore ceases to be a moment prior to the exhibition in order to become part of its own structure.
