The Sala Josep Uclés is launching the exhibition “And, Suddenly, Chance: Uncertainties, Destinies, and Coincidences in the MACBA Collection”—a project curated by Claudia Elies that explores the concept of chance through various perspectives, contexts, and meanings, encompassing the random, the unpredictable, and the fortuitous convergence of events. The exhibition frames chance as an irruption—an abrupt, uncontrollable, and unexpected occurrence.

The opening event will take place at 7:00 p.m. Following the official remarks, the exhibition curator will lead a brief guided tour, sharing the project’s core conceptual themes and offering insights into how to interpret the works on display.
