Loop Festival presents ঘুমের সময় এক নিঃসঙ্গ জঙ্গল আর তার নিশব্দ গান (In sleep comes the silent songs and an absent forest), by Reetu Sattar, with curatorial advice by Hiuwai Chu at Espai Souvenir 
This work-in-progress film explores the environmental and social consequences of colonial-era embankments, saltwater intrusion and shrimp farming in mangrove ecosystems. Through the interconnected experiences of Indigenous communities and the endangered Ganges river dolphin, Sattar reflects on the loss of livelihoods, ancestral knowledge and communication between human and non-human worlds, revealing the climate crisis through the tangible elements of salt, mud and sound.
