“A Second Skin”, a monographic exhibition by Tarragona visual artist Vanessa Pey that will be installed from May 30 to August 25 at Les Golfes de Casa Canals. A project curated by Gabriel Virgilio Lucianique, it focuses on voyeurism, both in his own gaze and in that of the camera, an extension of his own delirious vision.

Through video art and photographs, Pey blurs the border between medium and subject, controlled device and autonomous eye, body and object, exploring themes such as terror and pleasure. His hypnotic work questions the relationship between recording media, cinematographic methods and the psychological effect experienced by bodies that become objects due to this fixation process.

The project serves as a comprehensive summary of his video and photographic work, providing a comprehensive view of his talent and artistic evolution.
