In 2022, M|A|C jointly produced with Marc Salicrú his installation “Breu inici d’aproximació al trajecte pel trajecte”, a work that formed part of the collective exhibition “22 finestres”, which inaugurated the first exhibition at Presó de Mataró, the new home of M|A|C.
On 16 October, M|A|C invited Marc Salicrú to imagine how we could, together with the schoolchildren who wished to join us, bring Parsimònia, that wonderful character who lifts its head and sees everything, from Presó to Les Cinc Sénies, as part of Festival Dos Terços, which temporarily takes place in this agricultural area to highlight and defend its value.
After visiting the schools and presenting the project, the students worked on creating a sound map of the journey from their everyday spaces (home and school) to Les Cinc Sénies. All these sounds and noises became the soundtrack to the procession that followed the proposed route: from the art centre to the countryside.
This exhibition presents once again the first “Trajecte pel trajecte”, as well as the recording and materials resulting from the experience of 16 October.
The exhibition can be visited until 10 January 2027.
