Walking Inside Out – NAKED SPACE
The inaugural activation unfolds as a shared spatial gesture: a collective procession carrying the essence and material presence of Espai Souvenir into the streets. What was once held within is now brought outside—its surfaces, seams, and time-worn details revealed through movement, touch, and proximity.
Neighbors, volunteers, and invited collectives come together to transport this spatial body by hand, transforming it from static structure into a mobile archive. As it is carried through courtyards, pavements, and passageways, private experience becomes public ritual—where architecture is no longer fixed but performed.
This shared act blurs the lines between audience and participant, exhibition and city. The gesture resists spectacle in favor of intimacy, slowness, and encounter. Moving through familiar and contested terrain, the procession challenges what it means to inhabit space, inviting new forms of relation and recognition.
