A space dedicated to contextual artistic practices from different approaches: artistic, programming, curation, mediation, academy… Through an adaptable methodology, we want to explore how creation projects are developed in context, generating questions around these practices: what is the role of the context? Who and how does it accompany these projects? What temporalities are necessary to develop them? What about the symbolic materials that are put into circulation? What’s before and what’s next? How do production modes change or adapt in these practices?

This conference also aims to contribute to establishing territorial networks that foster collaboration between stakeholders in this field, with special emphasis on practices that interact with the human and non-human, from an amplified perspective of what community participation and work entails.

The day will include a first part of a dynamic conversation around the issues exposed, and a second part that will consist of a collaborative activity where the process of printing in risography of the publication of the festival will end. This publication collects the graphic narrative of the artist Maria Camila Sanjinés (Artistas Salchichas) in relation to three artists programmed at the festival: Lu Cherigati, Federica Porello and Colectivo Ameno.
The publication will be produced within the framework of L.I.O. (La Impremta Oberta), a platform for the production and dissemination of publications linked to contemporary creation, created by Cultural Rizoma and nyamnyam.
