Karim Rosa. Lucía C. Pino

Karim Rosa, first solo exhibition by artist Lucía C. Pino at the gallery, presents a body of autonomous pieces, a dialogue between image and sculpture, activating tensions between materiality, memory, fragment, and composition.

The origin of this work lies, on one hand, in the desire to explore specific sculptural materials and processes—mainly those related to textile work and metal, while applying criteria of sustainability and material circularity; and, on the other, in the interaction with archives and materials of another nature. The desire is to attune to the emerging difference in a realm where the agency of things has not yet adapted to a final, conclusive form, and wherein lies the potential to draw, question, and point toward new diagrams of life.
