La Finestra (The Window) by Eva Armisén

La Finestra is the public-facing showcase for exhibitions and site-specific proposals running parallel to the main program. It highlights the professional growth that presenting work publicly represents for artists, while expanding their exhibition opportunities.

La Finestra opens featuring the artist Eva Armisén. Starting January 22nd, the display will be presented as an extension of her exhibition La Vida Pintada (Painted Life), curated by Lola Durán at the Cercle Reial Artístic de Barcelona.

Eva Armisén, originally from Zaragoza and based in Barcelona, is one of the country’s artists with the greatest international profile. Having exhibited in cities such as Seoul, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Singapore, Lisbon, and Melbourne, she returns to Barcelona with an exhibition that, in the curator’s words: “summarizes her way of understanding art: painting life as an act of gratitude, resistance, and shared beauty.”

With La Finestra, Fundació Úniques opens a new way of connecting with the public: an exhibition space accessible at any time of day, visible from Carrer Magdalenes, 2.
